Adeline Jean was born in South Bend, Indiana, on April 28, 1922.
Living through the Great Depression with her parents and three siblings, she knew hardship. Nothing was easy, food was scarce, and people survived day to day. Adeline Jean graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, had dreams of becoming a singer and worked in a factory during World War II. She married and raised three children. At the time of her passing, she was a grandmother and great grandmother.
Above all else, she left a legacy of love, integrity, kindness, selflessness and generosity.
The mission of Adeline Jean Feeds FLA and Adeline Jean Feeds LA is to provide financial resources to purchase, provide and serve food for the homeless and those in greatest need in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Los Angeles, California.
The vision of Adeline Jean Feeds FLA and Adeline Jean Feeds LA is to end world hunger.
Donations to Adeline Jean Feeds FLA and Adeline Jean Feeds LA may be made through TBD.
All available donated funds will be dispersed to non-profit agencies in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Los Angeles, California. Donations are restricted solely to the purchase of food, ensuring every dollar helps nourish someone in need.
